About Port Jump Development

Port Jump Development was founded sometime in 1999 when co-founders Peter Yagmin and Chris Hendrix were discussing one of which would be many projects the two would endeavor upon.

At the time, the idea was that Port Jump would be a 'portal' (think dmoz crossed with Yahoo!) and that you would 'jump' to other sites from here, or at least that was the excuse Chris made for the snazzy 90's dot com start-up name of Port Jump.

Some pages of the history have been lost, but shortly there after it simply became a portfolio for Peter and a pseudo-partnership with Chris for them to collaborate on projects together.
